About Me

 My name is Nairoby J. Hiraldo, and I am a senior at Sports Medical Sciences Academy. I’ve been at this school since the sixth grade. During my time in middle school I struggled with my self-esteem. I tried to do everything to “fit in”. Academically I was having trouble as well because of my self-esteem. I realized I needed to do something about it. So I got involved with extracurriculars and sports. Those afterschool activities helped me with my self esteem, and academics. Now I am better than ever! With capstone I get to work with someone who went through a similar Problem. We get to help middle school students, and each other. Like I said before getting involved with after school activities helped me. I got involved with another project known as the Roberto Clemente Life Commemoration Event! Doing activities with friends after school is the best thing that boosted my self-esteem!
